Emergency room visits usually result in a wait time of more than seven hours. For someone who is sick or hurt, that’s a long time to wait. Fortunately, SouthCoast Medical Group has a perfect solution for urgent, non-routine medical needs that do not require a visit to the emergency room. Injuries and illnesses can be handled by expert physicians on the weekends with minimal waiting and at a lower cost. In addition, our Adult Weekend Care Clinic is pleased to offer the convenience of walk in appointments as well as access to limited on-site laboratory and radiology.

Please note that our Adult Weekend Care Clinic is open to people whether or not your primary care doctor is from SouthCoast Medical Group. We accept most insurance plans. Please check with your insurance provider, as some insurance plans require a referral.

We provide treatment for a variety of injuries and illnesses, including

Cuts, Scrapes and Minor Lacerations
Muscle Aches and Pains
Sore Throats, Colds, and Fever
Urination with Difficulty or Pain
Coughs and Wheezing
Vomiting/Diarrhea
Earaches
Minor Eye Injuries or Infections
Sprains
